Should I migrate to Facebook

I am thinking if I should switch to using a Facebook page instead.  Pros - Easier to follow, to be followed. The Blogger 'follow' functionality is not as user-friendly.  - Tagging. Able to tag people easily, so those who are mentioned in a post would receive an instant notification.  - Easier to manage. Same login details as my personal Facebook profile (though the 'administrator' of a Page would not be shown on the Page). I check my Facebook ten thousand times a day, the Facebook app is updated constantly on smartphones.  Cons - Everyone who reads my blog now has a Facebook account, but most would not be comfortable posting comments, liking the Page using their personal Facebook account.  - Cannot easily move the old posts across to Facebook. There is an option to 'backdate' posts, but I can only backdate posts to the date the Page is created, nothing earlier than Page creation date.  Option 1: Don't move Option 2: Move.  Opti...

Revamping my work space

Ok, just a short post. Sleep wasn't good last night. Had to wake up early (8am) to get ready for the 9.30am meeting with supervisor. Took the cab, still 15 mins late. Bad time management. Had another work meeting at 1pm. Only had less than 10 minutes to gulp down the Beef Donburi. Lasted for 2 hours, and thank God I was able to pay attention. Right now I am feeling groggy from the lack of sleep but I want to finish posting this. I had been wanting to redesign my work space, to allow me to sit ergonomically while working on my computer (laptop). Naughty Prince sent me some guides on how to arrange for an ergonomic work station. But I was having some cash flow problem previously. Now that I have got some $$ on hand, I can't wait but to go on a shopping spree haha! So, you got to visualise this yourself, as I don't have the guide with me, it's all in my mind. The simplest rule is that, (maybe for me) is to keep my elbows close to the sides of my torso. A...

Twitter. Follow me!

Look at the right side>>>>> I created a Twitter account last night and also inserted a widget on this blog.  I am still not very good with Twitter, and don't know if anyone can just write on this widget like a mini chat box. So try it out and let me know thanks!  Also, if you're using Twitter, let me know so I can follow you :)

Half day trip- Canberra

Flew to Canberra this morning on an ATR-72 Virgin Australia plane. It's my first time to be on a mini plane like this. Was feeling quite excited haha.  With my new 5s, I have this passbook app so I checked in online last night and had my electronic pass ready on my phone.  I proceeded straight to the gate and upon boarding, I only had to handover my phone, proudly, to the staff for her to scan. Not sure if she noticed its a two day old 5s! My baby!  Though it's a small plane, the seats were quite spacious. Two seats on each side. I got the window seat so I was able to capture a video when the plane took off! So cool. Always like the thrust and the take off.  Was a bit surprised with the complimentary snack, as I thought its just a short trip and they wouldn't bother to serve food.  Had a 'moosli' and a cup of coffee.  The Malaysian high commision was quite efficient. Had what I wanted done in twenty mins and walked a bit along ...

Spring, Sydney

Hello! I'm back!  Dear blog, dear stalkers, sorry for disappearing for the past week or so. Though I was lazy to write, I still read other blog posts almost everyday, they are great stuff to keep me company.  So what have I been doing?  I was being lazy in general. Quite addicted to playing DOTA actually.  I actually started to feel better, physically and mentally.  Had a few acupuncture sessions in the last few weeks, and with the help of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the feverish feeling has almost disappeared. I still feel some aches around my neck and shoulder area, but I would attribute that to lack of exercise. Just yesterday and today, my nose is a bit runny, just a bit, and the throat is dry. Hopefully it will get better soon. Maybe it's the weather? Better don't over-think.  I had a counselling session last Monday. Basically, the counselor asked me to stop getting tested because every time I get a test, I would super anxious ...

Game (Dota 2)

I can already imagine people not clicking the link to this blog post or simply stop reading when they see the title. I was like that too. With the exception of Dota 2, I'm never a games person. Computer games/Video games/PSP/PS3/Nintendo/Wii/Game Boy/Xbox- Never. The only game that I was able to complete was Pokemon Yellow. I played it using an 'emulator' on my PC while I was in Secondary One. Even with that, I had to consult friends when I got stuck in one of the levels. I've played Mario on my computer too. But my hands would get too sweaty and I would get too scared of 'dying'. Never competed the game. One or two stages only. I've also played a few times of 'Street Fighters' and 'Need for Speed' on PS2. I don't own any gaming console. I actually hoped for a Game Boy, the very first generation when I saw my younger cousin playing with his, but I knew I would never be able to convince my parents to get me one. And as I grow o...
